This is Act The Maggot’s menu of communications training training delivered directly to your company. First, we run a taster workshop that lasts two hours, as a training needs analysis. Then, once the brief is confirmed and there is sufficient commitment and enthusiasm we come in-house and deliver the training.  A six-session module for beginner speakers and presenters as well as a six-session module for the more advance public speakers who are moving into management roles or their job requires more public engagements of them. So, what kind of commitment is involved?

If your company would like to hire Act The Maggot – we would need an initial commitment of two hours with a minimum of 8 participants for the training needs analysis. Going forward we would want a 12 hour commitment which could be delivered as in-house training, once a week (2 hours) for six weeks.

True leaders evolve better with active listening skills as well as resilience and public speaking training.

So you want o be a leader, an influencer, someone who colleagues will listen to. Overcoming your fear or discomfort of Public Speaking is one of the major challenges you will face if you wish to grow and develop in your chosen career. You must also learn to listen and be comfortable, clear and confident in giving appropriate feedback. That is what is required of successful leaders and bosses.

For anyone giving a speech, a presentation, or talking in public, I would really recommend ‘Act The Maggot.’ Amy made it much much easier than I could ever have imagined. This course certainly made me feel a whole lot better and no longer do I have that sense of dread or fear.
