Meditation and Making a Vision Board

Would you like to make a vision board? Why not try meditating for self care? Following the success of previous mindfulness workshops, Act The Maggot is thrilled to announce a new collaboration for 2019.

When is our next Meditation workshop

Thoughtfully designed by facilitator Amy Redmond and psychotherapist Anne-Marie Curran, we are announcing the third of The Power Of Me Celtic Caldendar workshop series on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 10am to 1pm at the Dublin Wellness Centre, 28 South William Street, Dublin 2. The workshop features an array of mindfulness exercises purpose-designed for the beginner. It’s also a great way to reconnect with a fallen practice. We will devote the majority of the session to making our own vision boards.

What is a Vision Board?

A vision board is a visual representation of all the things that you want to do, be, and have in your life. It’s a daily reminder of those things. It can be made easily using a small canvas and glueing on meaningful images and words. It is nice to find images of things you want to have, places you want to go, activities you want to do, things you want to learn. Some people make them very focused on one area in their lives and others make them generally covering topics such as, health, heart, work, spirit.

Why is a Vision Board powerful?

It is powerful because once you’ve made it, it something you can look at every single day to remind you of your deepest desires. And it’s powerful. Because ATTENTION is powerful, and where your attention goes, your energy flows. Don’t you want your attention focused on the things that you want to attract in your life? It works!

Meditation and focused vision can become part of your life

What better way to kickstart your own wellness plan for the winter of 2019? Self-care and nourishment can become a part of your day. This relaxing morning is guaranteed to leave you rejuvenated and refreshed when you walk out the door. The cost of the workshop is €40 per person.
