If your dreams don’t scare you they aren’t big enough!

Sometimes we just need to be in the company of like-minded people to be reminded of our dreams and aspirations. It’s easy to get lazy and sluggish and forget some of the goals we used to have before life got in the way. Beginner acting classes help inspire confidence and clear thinking. Mindfulness meditation can help calm the mind in order to see clearly and make exciting plans. Creative writing helps get those hidden stories onto the page and gets the brain flowing with ideas again, especially in the group context with other adults. Remember to act the maggot as often as possible. It keeps us fresh, energetic and young at heart.

IMG_2802Yes, indeed, another crop of maggots finished up last night and, as usual, they surprised and entertained with great material and performances, not to mention the really way-out, hilarious improvisations they did – taking it to a whole new level!
