PresentMomentFollowing the success of previous workshops, Act The Maggot will host another Mind Yourself Morning on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 from 11am to 12.30pm in Rathmines, Dublin 6. The workshop features an array of mindfulness exercises purpose-designed for the beginner. It’s also a great way to reconnect with a fallen practise. This relaxing morning is guaranteed to leave you rejuvenated and refreshed when you walk out the door. The cost of the workshop is €30 per person. You can read testimonials about previous Mind Yourself workshops, click here. Please email us at actthemaggot@gmail.com or call 087 374 4926 for more information and to book your spot. We will post here at the end of the summer when we arrange the date for the Autumn session.

There is no short answer for this. It is simply paying attention, in the present moment and being aware of the now. That’s Amy’s short answer. For me, it is all about the breath. The sanctuary of the breath. When we pay attention to the rising and falling of our breaths, it takes us out of our minds (where we spend way too much time!) and harnesses us constantly back to the present moment. Yes, mindful meditation can be your own daily holiday from thinking, thinking, thinking. It’s worth exploring, that is for sure.

  1. Hi there,
Just on your website and really enjoyed watching the make a movie videos.
I’m the Manager of the Talk About Youth project, here in Pearse street and am currently looking for some similar activity to run for our new Youth Employability project for 17 to 25 year olds. Loved the imagination, fun and creativity of the movie making. Would love to chat with you and explore some ideas. Be great to hear from you soon.
    All the best,
